Vinícius Junior could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Celso Trevisan made a huge save. Celso Trevisan stood somewhat misplaced when Doriva Tavares came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 39 minute. 42 minutes into the game, Doriva Tavares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Celso Trevisan. Doriva Tavares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1.

Fedele Di Fabrizio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Péter Pálffy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With splendid footwork Fedele Di Fabrizio arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-2 by the left pole in the game's 87th minute. In the 91st minute, Corneliu Dridu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Doriva Tavares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celso Trevisan was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
