In the 12th minute of the match, Christoffer Häll tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kent Näver saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Roar Klev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kalfhage in the 14th minute of the match. Mountainhammer United's Roar Klev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peder Alström in the 15th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, INIXET BK's Peder Alström made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roar Klev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peder Alström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roar Klev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Sören Gregersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Roar Klev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roar Klev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Gregersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. INIXET BK's Tom Lövgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roar Klev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kent Näver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Back in the 28th minute of play. Roar Klev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sören Gregersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Peder Alström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roar Klev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roar Klev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peder Alström in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ludomil Bucyki hit a great ball. Roar Klev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Hääger in the 34th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mårten Olsman got free with Kent Näver in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Blom in the 39th minute of play forced INIXET BK's goalkeeper Kent Näver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mårten Olsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Alström was the one to do the kick off. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Mountainhammer United's much stronger midfield.
