Frederik Strzelczyk hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Tom Lövgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INIXET BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Lövgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Sören Gregersson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Henrick Zeier was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Henrick Zeier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sören Gregersson in the 10th minute of play. INIXET BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Arthur Hengemühl scored to the left of an out of position Kent Näver, making the score, 1-1. After 17 played minutes INIXET BK got a freekick which was hit by Kjell-Arne Fredriksson. Tarada's Arthur Hengemühl got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Karl-Magnus Bergman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrick Zeier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 27 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Wielowiejski came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Näver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 33rd minute of the match. If Arthur Hengemühl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, INIXET BK's goal looked a bit too open when Stian Aarflot came free, but Kent Näver reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrick Zeier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peder Alström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kent Näver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stian Aarflot, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Oscar Hääger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrick Zeier having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Tarada's Massimo Wechsler was substituted for Leif Kohler. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peder Alström was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of INIXET BK booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Massimo Wechsler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute Sören Gregersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrick Zeier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrick Zeier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carl Kalfhage in the 64th minute. Björn Pihlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sören Gregersson in the 87th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Henrick Zeier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frederik Strzelczyk to maneuver through the defense. Serge Jeanneret hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the game, Tarada's Adam Wielowiejski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Näver made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. INIXET BK's Kent Näver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stian Aarflot in the 94th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Tarada failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
