The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niks Mus. After having played for 10 minutes, Jack Mykland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dum Dum Boys Athletics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Mykland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Abdi Revis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trond Bjørheim was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdi Revis in the 23rd minute of play forced Dum Dum Boys Athletics's goalkeeper Trond Bjørheim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niks Mus, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. A collision led to Dum Dum Boys Athletics getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Adam Svenningsen hit a great ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niks Mus made a kick off. If Niks Mus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Trond Bjørheim was a little too slow when Abdi Revis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Eric Van Lint. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niks Mus in the 60th minute of the match. With a little luck, Dum Dum Boys Athletics's Trond Bjørheim got control of the ball when Mats Hermansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trond Bjørheim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Hermansson in the 62nd minute of play. Trond Bjørheim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Revis in the 64th minute of the match. If Niks Mus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trond Bjørheim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Revis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Dušan Tadić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Trancoso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Trond Bjørheim firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Vykans Vikingar supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Vykans Vikingar would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
