When Claudio-Paul Caniggia got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Östen Stor came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Stamen Tekeliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Józef Mlynarczyk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Nasir Nesefi made a kick off. A collision led to Deportivo Pucho getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. The corner led Deportivo Pucho's Romulo Brun to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Roberto Teixeira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Michael Guisla hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Playa Malvín players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Pucho.
