When Elpidio Francis came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elpidio Francis couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Branislav Velchevski got control of the ball when J.J 孙策 tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Francis made a kick off. Antoni Kaznocha charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antoni Kaznocha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
