Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Rivero having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in DOROSTOL Ss's zone, Arnaldo Gabon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Rivero came out of the goal and Arnaldo Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Nicolas Teixeira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Branislav Velchevski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Elpidio Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Gabon in the 25th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Francis in the 32nd minute of play. After 34 minutes DOROSTOL Ss's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Everardo Cordarell who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Everardo Cordarell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero did a great save. In the 36th minute, Elpidio Francis made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Rivero. DOROSTOL Ss's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Leopoldo Rivero successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute Elpidio Francis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valko Chochkov hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Teixeira made a kick off. Everardo Cordarell made a great header on ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's corner, it was just that DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Teixeira got free with Branislav Velchevski in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolas Teixeira who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Branislav Velchevski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, DOROSTOL Ss's Aimé Rispal got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 96thth minute of the game André Monclús who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. DOROSTOL Ss were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
