The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Tate in the 4th minute of play forced DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper Leopoldo Rivero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Ado in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in DOROSTOL Ss's zone, Joe Tate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leopoldo Rivero came out of the goal and Joe Tate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Gonzo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Erasmo Veiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edmond Verdun was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Mauro Rameriz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leopoldo Rivero having to make a save. In the 23rd minute Joe Tate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Tate in the 25th minute of play. Leopoldo Rivero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Tate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmond Verdun made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Nicolas Teixeira sent off a good shot on target. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Terra in the 31st minute of play. In the 36th minute Emílio Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leopoldo Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Veiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute DOROSTOL Ss were awarded a corner. Aimé Rispal went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Toshko Strezov heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Nicolas Teixeira made the kick off in the second half. Prospero Jerardo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Teixeira in the 52nd minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pastor Ado who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Leopoldo Rivero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 55 minutes into the match, Prospero Jerardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leopoldo Rivero. DOROSTOL Ss's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Jerardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Nicolas Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute Nicolas Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Rivero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Rameriz in the 63rd minute of play. Errecaborda AFC were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after DOROSTOL Ss's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emílio Terra took the corner. In the 66th minute, Erasmo Veiga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The DOROSTOL Ss fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. DOROSTOL Ss's Leopoldo Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Jerardo in the 69th minute of play. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Teixeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Leopoldo Rivero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Tate in the 74th minute of the match. Leopoldo Rivero made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Pastor Ado sent off a good shot on target. DOROSTOL Ss's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Joe Tate 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. Errecaborda AFC's Hipolito Neron was substituted for Miguel Savion. Erasmo Veiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Verdun having to interfere.
