Túlio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Norberto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doni Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto da Mata went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Kauan Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Mauro Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vitinho Ramos. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Ferreira in the 20th minute of play forced AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goalkeeper Vitinho Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caco Hermes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Doni Seco threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Romário Bastos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 36 minutes into the match, AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when João Vítor Ferreira came free, but Vitinho Ramos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kauan Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Luís Fabiano Paes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Sarmento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Vítor Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauro Sarmento made a kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Telmo da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castanheiro SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ the free kick. In the 50th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo da Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes Castanheiro SC got a freekick which was hit by Luisinho Seco. Valdemar Passos's late challenge caught a Castanheiro SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Passos helped the player get up and apologised. After 56 played minutes AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Passos. In the 58th minute of the match, Mauro Sarmento got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vitinho Ramos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valdemar Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doni Seco having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Mauro Sarmento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's Norberto da Mata got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 72 in the game by Mauro Sarmento from a close distance when the talented Vitinho Ramos managed to make a qualified save. AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ's players were relieved. When Romário Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romário Bastos couldn't finish the play. João Vítor Ferreira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Castanheiro SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Romário Bastos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doni Seco. Castanheiro SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Norberto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valdemar Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Falcão Queiroz got free with Vitinho Ramos in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Falcão Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vitinho Ramos came out and tried to block the shot, but Falcão Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute, Serafim Cearense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Castanheiro SC's Mauro Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vitinho Ramos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The AtAnAkAs F.C FSCMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Castanheiro SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Castanheiro SC.
