Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Martins in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney de Queirós in the 25th minute of play forced Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalkeeper Cacá Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cacá Sousa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Joinville - FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
