The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Nova Erechim - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiago Gabriel Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Jailson Gonçalves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Pedro de Godoi. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Duda Abraão hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 31 played minutes Nova Erechim - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Gabriel Peres. Marquinhos Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sílvio Luís Pinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luís Pinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Ortiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Pedro de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jailson Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro de Godoi having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jailson Gonçalves to strike the kick off in the second half. Tiago Gabriel Peres's late challenge caught a Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiago Gabriel Peres helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Rosa in the 58th minute of play forced Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's goalkeeper José Pedro de Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Capixaba hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's José Carlos Madureira was substituted for Pedrinho Tande. After 63 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Capixaba. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Duda Abraão got a free kick in the 64th minute. Sílvio Luís Pinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Ruy Ortiz made a huge save. Paulo Brito tried in the 75th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ruy Ortiz a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. If Neymar Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Duda Abraão. Sílvio Luís Pinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ruy Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nova Erechim - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Zé Augusto Vaz hit a great ball. José Pedro de Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gláuber Rosa in the 84th minute of the match. When Nova Erechim - FSCMZ's Sílvio Luís Pinho in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neymar Santos got free with Ruy Ortiz in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
