With his leg Luiz Fernando Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Capitan Beto's Ramon Richie fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mário Paiva was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 6 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute, one of Lea FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lea FC. Luiz Fernando Teixeira had in the 8thth minute some difficulties stopping Orlando Elivareo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Ramon Richie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luiz Fernando Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lea FC's Juninho Bastos got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Capitan Beto's Ramon Richie in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lea FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luiz Fernando Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Richie went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Ramon Richie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Capitan Beto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Luiz Fernando Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Richie went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Fernando Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Luiz Fernando Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Teixeira had great luck who in the 38thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ramon Richie from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 40 minutes into the match, Capitan Beto's Ramon Richie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Fernando Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 44 played minutes Lea FC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Bastos. Orlando Elivareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Everardo Olo to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lea FC's Everardo Olo got a free kick in the 55th minute. Elvio Opilano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Dante in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Amadeu de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon Richie struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Luiz Fernando Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capitan Beto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Richie in the 63rd minute of play forced Lea FC's goalkeeper Luiz Fernando Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Richie took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Luiz Fernando Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After a defensive mix-up in Lea FC's zone, Ramon Richie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Teixeira came out of the goal and Ramon Richie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Luiz Fernando Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ramiro Hotz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramiro Hotz took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Luiz Fernando Teixeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Luiz Fernando Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Richie, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lea FC's Luiz Fernando Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Erasto in the 84th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Orlando Elivareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luiz Fernando Teixeira. Lea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Elivareo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Capitan Beto's Orlando Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Juninho Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Opilano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramon Richie in the 94th minute of the match. With a little luck, Capitan Beto's Elvio Opilano got control of the ball when Everardo Olo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Capitan Beto's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
