Psycho-Circus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Najarro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Psycho-Circus's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Martinsson came free, but 邓真义 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 邓真义 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Man Tas in the 13th minute of play. In the 20th minute 武 杨广 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tobias Elizardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 邓真义 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Man Tas's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Sarmiento de Resistencia's Arias Fabelo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ähsän Xudadverdiyev in the 33 minute of the game. With an all-out effort, Psycho-Circus's Tobias Elizardo threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Claudio-Paul Caniggia, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 邓真义 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Man Tas in the 44th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 武 杨广 in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Elizardo saved Sarmiento de Resistencia from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, 武 杨广 put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Elizardo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Sarmiento de Resistencia's Alex Herrero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 邓真义. That made the score 1-2 after 58 minutes of play. Alex Herrero received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 邓真义 came out and tried to block the shot, but Alex Herrero slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 63rd minute. 69 minutes into the match, Sarmiento de Resistencia's goal looked a bit too open when Talib Temelj came free, but Tobias Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
