With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaroslav Nechvátal in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Errapel saved Santa Maradona from getting behind. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Chipa y Tereré from getting a goal against them. Jaroslav Nechvátal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Errapel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. When Bernardo Cabral came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Cabral couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Santa Maradona defense, Bernardo Cabral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Errapel. The Santa Maradona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Errapel should have stopped the shot. Xie Chao Cheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Cordeiro got free with Xie Chao Cheng in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Jaroslav Nechvátal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Errapel. Santa Maradona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaroslav Nechvátal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 36th minute, Miguel Transito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Errapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaroslav Nechvátal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With 43 minutes on the clock, Christian Evarado commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 45th minute of the game, Santa Maradona got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Cordeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Xie Chao Cheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Transito in the 51st minute of play. Ratan Ayala kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Club A. Chipa y Tereré booed when Santa Maradona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Bernardo Cabral got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th match minute, Santa Maradona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Martxot to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Errapel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Cabral in the 67th minute of play. Mauro Loureiro got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jonathan Errapel handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Xie Chao Cheng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodolfo Cordeiro went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Gabriel Gaizko was substituted for Wilfredo Cordairo. A collision led to Santa Maradona getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ratan Ayala hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Transito in the 82nd minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Xie Chao Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Rodolfo Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xie Chao Cheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Cordeiro in the 89th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Xie Chao Cheng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club A. Chipa y Tereré walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
