In the 3rd minute of the game Matias Taurino made a throw-in which Guido Ricart played forward. Roberto Eztebe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Heriberto in the 13th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s goal looked a bit too open when Lino Rios came free, but Santos Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santos Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lino Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. When AFC FUSION's Lino Rios in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 32nd minute, Lino Rios left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC FUSION fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Roberto Eztebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leon Seber in the 35th minute. The supporters of A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ booed when AFC FUSION was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute of the match A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ got a corner. AFC FUSION's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luís Fabiano Cavalcante ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luís Fabiano Cavalcante got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roberto Eztebe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆'s Nistor Berca was substituted for Jesus Hechter. Santos Guillen made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lino Rios sent off a good shot on target. After 56 minutes of play, AFC FUSION's Lino Rios made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Santos Guillen was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Rios in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Santos Guillen saved A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ from getting behind. In the 69th minute Damian Heriberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Heriberto in the 72nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Abreu in the 74th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Santos Guillen made a huge save. In the 77th match minute, A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Leon Seber's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Guido Ricart made in the 86th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luís Fabiano Cavalcante. In the 95th minute of the game Alfonso Eztebe made a throw-in which Leon Seber played forward. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Heriberto in the 97th minute of play. The A Sку Fυℓℓ σf Sтαяѕ ☆ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching AFC FUSION's performance. The match ended with a win for AFC FUSION.
