The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfonso Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Alonzo Marques made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Eulalio Bilintx sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Bilintx in the 7th minute of play forced BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper Alonzo Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Eulalio Bilintx cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Alonzo Marques was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd match minute, BARRILETE COSMICO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Cortez to maneuver through the defense. BARRILETE COSMICO's Alonzo Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Ireno in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Los Gallos got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Chago. Alonzo Marques came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Gallos's Eulalio Bilintx. But to his dismay, Eulalio Bilintx quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eulalio Bilintx to make the kick off. When Igor Urdaspal fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Gallos's protests and gave Igor Urdaspal a yellow card for diving instead. Guido Luar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Asier in the 54th minute of the match. The supporters of BARRILETE COSMICO booed when Los Gallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alonzo Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Bilintx, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 68 minutes of play, Los Gallos's Eulalio Bilintx made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Marques was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Los Gallos's Eulalio Bilintx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alonzo Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Ladislao Urtats's late challenge caught a Los Gallos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ladislao Urtats helped the player get up and apologised. After 85 played minutes BARRILETE COSMICO got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Urtats. After 90 minutes, Guaberto Bras mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARRILETE COSMICO and the Los Gallos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Los Gallos booed when BARRILETE COSMICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Bras didn't get a good kick on the ball. BARRILETE COSMICO's Astor Asier got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Guido Luar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Astor Asier in the 95th minute.
