Gaston Claris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gaston Claris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Lizzio in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Bernardino Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anselmo Astudillo got his second yellow card in the match during the 17th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Vinicio Gerazan scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaston Claris, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Gaitan came free, but Gaston Claris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Vinicio Gerazan got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Everardo Koldobika had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Pablo Lizzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Claris. Palermo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Lizzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gaston Claris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Gaitan in the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Vinicio Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Leopoldo Lluques hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Vinicio Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Claris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Olo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Octavio Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The Cable a Tierra fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pablo Lizzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Gaston Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Palermo AFC defense, Baltasar Gaitan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaston Claris. The Palermo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaston Claris should have stopped the shot. Cable a Tierra's Angelo Erauso was substituted for Cosme Turi. Cable a Tierra's Maximino Timo was substituted for Generoso Tavio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Gerazan in the 79th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Gaston Claris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Angelo Erauso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaston Claris. That made the score 0-7 in the 82 minute of play. Gaston Claris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baltasar Gaitan went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Pablo Lizzio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaston Claris came out and tried to block the shot, but Pablo Lizzio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 88th minute. Octavio Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Baltasar Gaitan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaston Claris. Palermo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baltasar Gaitan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10. Pablo Lizzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Claris having to interfere. Cable a Tierra's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
