With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Dewulf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute Taaniel Hill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Dewulf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute of the match Brown Puerto Madryn got a corner. The Waldos's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dorin Horia ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Dorin Horia almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Waldos's David Dewulf did a great save. David Dewulf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taaniel Hill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Taaniel Hill made a precise shot to the right of David Dewulf. The Waldos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Santiago Nataniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Ştefănescu in the 27th minute of play. Santiago Nataniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Brown Puerto Madryn players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Waldos.
