Evelio Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Theo Hayles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Italiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Godfredo Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theo Hayles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen got control of the ball when Adam Jönsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 25thth minute of the game Alonzo Lazcano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Sportivo Italiano's Reynaldo Stephen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Club Sportivo Italiano getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Theo Hayles hit a great ball. Adam Jönsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Reynaldo Stephen made a huge save. After some careless play in the BEIJO CARNAVAL defense, Evelio Pes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Godfredo Abarca. The BEIJO CARNAVAL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Godfredo Abarca should have stopped the shot. Francisco Beltxe hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute of the match Rogelio Claris sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godfredo Abarca skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Adam Jönsson made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Lazcano in the 53rd minute of the match. Adam Jönsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Reynaldo Stephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Rogelio Claris took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Godfredo Abarca to make any attempt to save it. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Rigoberto Olayo was substituted for Romulo Arias. In the 85th minute, Alonzo Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alonzo Lazcano took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reynaldo Stephen. Reynaldo Stephen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. 93 minutes into the match, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Saverio Belasko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reynaldo Stephen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Alonzo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEIJO CARNAVAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonzo Lazcano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Sportivo Italiano eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
