After a rather tough play, GUSESI's Tiburcio Cuartio got a free kick in the 34th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Bruly's Wesley Oelaerts tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Kiliz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Paco Gento kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck made a precise shot to the right of Santos Kiliz. GUSESI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 45th minute of the match, Dieter Muller got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rudy Duchateau was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Sánchez to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sylvan De Maret in the 79th minute of play forced GUSESI's goalkeeper Santos Kiliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Bruly's Mathias-Alexander Van Halbeeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos Kiliz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 88th match minute, Bruly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karel-Jan Van Eyck to maneuver through the defense. GUSESI's Santos Kiliz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save GUSESI from getting a goal against them. Sylvan De Maret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
