Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. A collision led to National Team Cape-Verde getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Anton Vibjörnsson hit a great ball. After 5 played minutes, spikarna's Birger Bergström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pål Sefastsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in spikarna reached it. After having played for 10 minutes, Carlos Alberto Tevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. National Team Cape-Verde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Alberto Tevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15thth minute of the game Kaj Hård who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but National Team Cape-Verde's Pål Sefastsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lars Norberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Alberto Tevez got free with Lars Norberg in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. National Team Cape-Verde's Carlos Alberto Tevez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lars Norberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 25th minute of the match, Fredric Melander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lars Norberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 26 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Tevez came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Carlos Alberto Tevez sped through spikarna's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lars Norberg. Carlos Alberto Tevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lars Norberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Pål Sefastsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kaj Hård, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pål Sefastsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atakan Pepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Carlos Alberto Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lars Norberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute of the match, Sven Nordkvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Sefastsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 62 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Tevez came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lars Norberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Tevez in the 65th minute of the match. Niklas Söderberg came free with the goalkeeper in the 68th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pål Sefastsson could save by the left post. The nice shot from Niklas Söderberg in the 68thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Pål Sefastsson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 70th minute Carlos Alberto Tevez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Mariusz Snow hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. National Team Cape-Verde's Rudolf Lundgren was substituted for Fredric Melander. Pål Sefastsson made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Kaj Hård sent off a good shot on target. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rudolf Lundgren in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Bennvar Post shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bennvar Post in the 85th minute of play forced spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the match, spikarna's goal looked a bit too open when Bennvar Post came free, but Lars Norberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennvar Post took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lars Norberg. Lars Norberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 92 played minutes National Team Cape-Verde got a freekick which was hit by Mariusz Snow. Rickard Alefors hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. National Team Cape-Verde were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of spikarna for a fine match.
