Enrique Lekubegi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Burufski in the 19th minute of the match. Santos Ioritz's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Kacper Prosowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Kacper Prosowski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santos Ioritz in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Burufski came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Burufski struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Enrique Lekubegi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKS Kozienice. 41 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Burufski came free, but Enrique Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute Lucjan Burufski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Gaufred to strike the kick off in the second half. If Lucjan Burufski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. One of Palermo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of AKS Kozienice:s goal. Enrique Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucjan Burufski in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Lucjan Burufski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Lekubegi. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucjan Burufski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After a rather tough play, AKS Kozienice's Dobromir Chodzinski got a free kick in the 93rd minute. A collision led to AKS Kozienice getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Gu Peng Guo hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AKS Kozienice had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
