The Newcastle United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Salim Adas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With an all-out effort, Newcastle United's Salim Adas threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wlodzimierz Sokolski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas got control of the ball when Remigiusz Bronkala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remigiusz Bronkala in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Salim Adas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Cupial didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remigiusz Bronkala was the one to do the kick off. Remigiusz Bronkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salim Adas having to interfere. Salim Adas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigiusz Bronkala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to De Boedo Vengo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Arturo Beltza hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Remigiusz Bronkala ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salim Adas was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Gualterio Estefan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the De Boedo Vengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Estefan couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Benigno Jobo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in De Boedo Vengo's zone, Wlodzimierz Sokolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Salim Adas came out of the goal and Wlodzimierz Sokolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salim Adas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Remigiusz Bronkala's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. With a little luck, Newcastle United's Kryspin Wyrostek got control of the ball when Romeo Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 85th minute of play forced De Boedo Vengo's goalkeeper Salim Adas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Wlodzimierz Sokolski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but De Boedo Vengo's Salim Adas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the game, Remigiusz Bronkala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Salim Adas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Newcastle United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
