In the 18th minute, Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Maximiliano Estebano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Maximiliano Estebano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Hijos Del Pellegrini protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximiliano Estebano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Los Hijos Del Pellegrini's Maximiliano Estebano got a free kick in the 18th minute. Carlos Augusto Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Ovidio Enaut didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Hijos Del Pellegrini. Julian Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Evis having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Carlos Augusto Pinheiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Carlos Augusto Pinheiro came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Los Hijos Del Pellegrini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Pinheiro couldn't finish the play.
