Borys Patora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Brasil in the 37th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Ciro Brasil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Edmundo Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paredes Fortes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Los Playmobil FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cipriano Lauren in the 42nd minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
