MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torcato Rebocho in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Torcato Rebocho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Januário Rangel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgílio Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassiano Telinhos in the 18th minute. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassiano Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Virgílio Teves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Januário Rangel having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Teves in the 23rd minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cassiano Telinhos made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Aloísio Garcez immediately put the ball in play. Januário Rangel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgílio Teves in the 33rd minute of the match. Ricardo Guerra took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatius Casasola. Ignatius Casasola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricardo Guerra to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Teves in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Januário Rangel saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. After 53 minutes of play, MEXACOMX's Ricardo Guerra made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ignatius Casasola was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Costa. Virgílio Teves scored 2-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Januário Rangel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Garanhão do SUL's Amado Vigário was substituted for Torcato Rebocho. Wu Liang Mo hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Ignatius Casasola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wu Liang Mo went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cassiano Telinhos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio-César Romo-Leroux was slow to take the kick. During this time MEXACOMX's players had a chance to rest. When Aang 张飞 fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MEXACOMX's protests and gave Aang 张飞 a yellow card for diving instead. Januário Rangel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Leizarraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Garanhão do SUL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Wu Liang Mo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ignatius Casasola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laércio Rebocho hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Guerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Ricardo Guerra came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the MEXACOMX fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Guerra couldn't finish the play. MEXACOMX made a substitution. Fryderyk Gierlach replaced Joaquin Sedillo. MEXACOMX were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Garanhão do SUL for a fine match.
