Ivo Guterres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. SC Freiburg 09 were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Ferit İsmet took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mehmet Ferit İsmet got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Éder Póvoas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 13thth minute of the game Raul Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 15 minutes into the match, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Leal came free, but Éder Póvoas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute of the match SC Freiburg 09 got a corner. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. At first the shot seemed to be simple for SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres to catch but Luís Brandon was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Castelo Branco in the 24th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 09's goalkeeper Ivo Guterres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's zone, Raul Leal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Éder Póvoas came out of the goal and Raul Leal tried to chip the ball over his head. Ivo Guterres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's Éder Póvoas got control of the ball when Anselmo Vilaça tried to sneak it across the goal line. Éder Póvoas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Vilaça's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 38 played minutes SC Freiburg 09 got a freekick which was hit by Raul Leal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Abel Castelo Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA's supporters rose to their feet, but Abel Castelo Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivo Guterres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Leal made a kick off. Mehmet Ferit İsmet kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 played minutes A RATA DA SALGUEIRINHA got a freekick which was hit by Corrado Puglielli. SC Freiburg 09's Ivo Guterres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Giansanti in the 57th minute of play. Ivo Guterres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Giansanti in the 60th minute of the match. Torcato Luz in the 93rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivo Guterres, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
