An unexpectedly hard shot by Trifon Katsoulis in the 9th minute of play forced MEXACOMX's goalkeeper Januário Rangel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, MEXACOMX's Januário Rangel got control of the ball when Fu Han Qiang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wu Liang Mo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jon Oblak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Andarilhos's Januário Rangel threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Trifon Katsoulis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trifon Katsoulis in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Januário Rangel saved MEXACOMX from getting behind. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fu Han Qiang to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Fu Han Qiang sped through MEXACOMX's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Januário Rangel. 56 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Fu Han Qiang came free, but Januário Rangel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Figueira made in the 79th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gonzalo Montiel however managed to control. Tomás Jordão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when Andarilhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caetano Velasques didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Tomás Jordão left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MEXACOMX fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jorge Ruas hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute Trifon Katsoulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Januário Rangel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MEXACOMX players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Andarilhos from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
