Jose Boldu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Solustiano Blea, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Zoil Pequeño could shoot a difficult shot in the 15th minute, which Ermengol Baena however easily saved by the left post. In the 20th minute, Zoil Pequeño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Zoil Pequeño got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zoil Pequeño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Ermengol Baena made a huge save. ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►►'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Zoil Pequeño scored to the left of an out of position Ermengol Baena, making the score, 2-0. In the 34th minute, Solustiano Blea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute of the match Doriva Saldanha shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermengol Baena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zoil Pequeño stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Bob Morley got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jose Boldu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Kev Hurtado scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermengol Baena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermengol Baena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kev Hurtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Franco Bosch in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jose Boldu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ◄◄Lucas Cerro Largo►► had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
