In the 25th minute James Batistuta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Roberto Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Glenn Fyfe was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of A4p FC Gad booed when Playa Malvín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantijn De Hond didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stamen Tekeliev. 35 minutes into the game, A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Stamen Tekeliev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Glenn Fyfe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Glenn Fyfe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stamen Tekeliev's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Stamen Tekeliev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenn Fyfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Playa Malvín were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after A4p FC Gad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandu Mândrilă took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Sandu Mândrilă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Glenn Fyfe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when King Scorpio made the kick off in the second half. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from King Scorpio in the 57th minute of play. Stamen Tekeliev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Glenn Fyfe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by King Scorpio in the 62nd minute of play. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stamen Tekeliev in the 64th minute of the match. Stamen Tekeliev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Playa Malvín made a substitution. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Gică Busuioc took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Zé Roberto Teixeira to make any attempt to save it. 77 minutes into the game, King Scorpio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Roberto Teixeira. King Scorpio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Zé Roberto Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of King Scorpio's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Quinto Ampudia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playa Malvín's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quinto Ampudia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th match minute, Playa Malvín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sesuldo Roque to maneuver through the defense.
