Argentinos de Bien's Ladislao Macerio got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Handi notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Hurboc's Isidoro Paez. Isidoro Paez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aquiles Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Gaufred, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Denis Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Paez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Argentinos de Bien's goalkeeper Aquiles Heli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Gaufred. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Gaufred in the 71st minute of play forced Argentinos de Bien's goalkeeper Aquiles Heli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Argentinos de Bien fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hurboc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
