Maurício Rosa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Higinio Cesaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvio Eusko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maurício Rosa. That made the score 2-0 in the 7 minute of play. Maurício Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Sauveur in the 11th minute of the match. Jaime Peres scored 2-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Ubarna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maurício Rosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvio Odilon's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. C.A Vientos Huracanados's Aquilino Bembe got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 26 minutes into the match, Pangarés FC's goalkeeper Maurício Rosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Cesaro. In the 29th minute of the match Evandro Viana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paolo Ubarna skillfully saved the ball. After 33 played minutes Pangarés FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Coelho. Aquilino Bembe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Maurício Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higinio Cesaro succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-1 in the 37th playminute. Pangarés FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Higinio Cesaro scored to the left of an out of position Maurício Rosa, making the score, 5-1. In the 46th minute Jaime Peres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Ubarna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Peres stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee showed Pascual Nataniel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Pangarés FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Rosa should have stopped the shot. In the 79th match minute, C.A Vientos Huracanados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquilino Bembe to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gilmar Costa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Paolo Ubarna made a huge save.
