Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Oswaldo Godoi kicked off to start the match. Tim Couch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Godoi in the 5th minute of play. West Ham's Tim Couch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Godoi in the 7th minute of play. When SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West Ham's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute of the match SE Palmeiras got a corner. West Ham's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Oswaldo Godoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Owen Zamora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Will Muralhas made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Cerezo in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tim Couch saved West Ham from getting behind. In the 33rd minute, John Maskell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes of play, SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Couch was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Oswaldo Godoi put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Tim Couch. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ray Acton was the one to do the kick off. If Christiano Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. West Ham's Tim Couch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Godoi in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in West Ham's zone, Oswaldo Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tim Couch came out of the goal and Oswaldo Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SE Palmeiras! West Ham's Owen Zamora got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Dalton in the 80th minute of play forced SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Will Muralhas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Natanael Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE Palmeiras's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Couch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84thth minute of the game Oswaldo Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but West Ham's Tim Couch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dito Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The SE Palmeiras fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when SE Palmeiras's Oswaldo Godoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute, Oswaldo Godoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tim Couch. The goal made the score 1-8. Oswaldo Godoi had several of the West Ham's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 97 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-9 score and a disappointed Tim Couch as he didn't even see the shot coming. SE Palmeiras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
