Vladimiro Figueira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Luiz Gustavo Magalhães hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Figueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Waldemar de Sena made a huge save. Vladimiro Figueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Waldemar de Sena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anaia Barba in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Sbârcea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Waldemar de Sena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 18th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After some careless play in the Mexilhão F. C. defense, Vladimiro Figueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar de Sena. The Mexilhão F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar de Sena should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimiro Figueira in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar de Sena prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Daniel Sbârcea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elivélton Quadros in the 45th minute of play. Waldemar de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anaia Barba to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Vladimiro Figueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Figueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Waldemar de Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 56th minute of play. Vladimiro Figueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute Vladimiro Figueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar de Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Litago kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Anaia Barba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Waldemar de Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimiro Figueira in the 66th minute of the match. Waldemar de Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Figueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 81st minute, Anaia Barba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexilhão F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. 85 minutes into the game, Johnny Van Havent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Waldemar de Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 92 minutes of play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's David Armada made it 10-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Waldemar de Sena was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Mexilhão F. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Orihuela Club de Fútbol.
