GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt van der Laan in the 2nd minute of play. Ralph Roeles made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Kent Stenman sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Kurt van der Laan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Finnman in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Jan de Vlieger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Su Peng Jian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Kent Stenman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the GrassNuts FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kent Stenman couldn't finish the play. Gu Xuan Xiong was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Stenman got free with Ralph Roeles in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Huang Gang kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Bengt Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 22 played minutes GrassNuts FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Finnman. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Gu Xuan Xiong hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Wahlnäs in the 31st minute. The supporters of GrassNuts FC booed when Julias Rascals Apeldoorn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakov Cvjetković didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Stenman in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Kurt van der Laan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kurt van der Laan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan de Vlieger in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Su Peng Jian saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Finnman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Jan de Vlieger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Su Peng Jian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save GrassNuts FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Kent Stenman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ralph Roeles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Kurt van der Laan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Su Peng Jian, 1-2. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Wahlnäs in the 77th minute of play. Jouni Markkula kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. GrassNuts FC's Su Peng Jian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Petersson in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's zone, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ralph Roeles came out of the goal and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GrassNuts FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Su Peng Jian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan de Vlieger in the 90th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Finnman came free, but Ralph Roeles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karel Kimman hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
