Henk Veerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Veerman in the 8th minute of play. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henk Veerman in the 13th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Caroll Baskin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk Veerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Henk Veerman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Tiburcio Muxica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Rotariu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Lukas Goretzka took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cihan Zafer to make any attempt to save it. Cihan Zafer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leroy Kluttig in the 29th minute. If Tiburcio Muxica had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's Lukas Goretzka broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to PoWer SC 2K5 getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Alexander Brehme hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Henk Veerman came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Veerman to make the kick off. David Rotariu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henk Veerman in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► got a corner. PoWer SC 2K5's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anton Scheupach ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Anton Scheupach to fire away a dangerous shot which David Rotariu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henk Veerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. David Rotariu was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Henk Veerman capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Henk Veerman really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Okan Koc was substituted for Özbek Karahan. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► made a substitution. Sacit Övünç replaced Güney Özboga. Han Chao Sang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Rotariu having to interfere. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Koc in the 77th minute of play. Tiburcio Muxica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Tiburcio Muxica dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Corné van Basten was substituted for Primitivo Balesio. Leroy Kluttig kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Okan Koc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. David Rotariu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 94 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Okan Koc came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
