Kurt van der Laan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt van der Laan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. In the 12th minute of the match, Jan de Vlieger tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but David Rotariu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were awarded a corner. Bengt Petersson went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Emiliano Caiola heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan de Vlieger, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. PoWer SC 2K5's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matthew Wagner in the 23rd minute. Hector Todor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralph Roeles having to interfere. Emiliano Caiola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. David Rotariu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bengt Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Leroy Kluttig made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn got a freekick which was hit by Bengt Petersson. 39 minutes into the match, Kurt van der Laan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Rotariu, 1-1. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save PoWer SC 2K5 from getting a goal against them. After 45 played minutes Kurt van der Laan rounded PoWer SC 2K5's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1.
PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan de Vlieger in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Alexander Brehme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PoWer SC 2K5's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Julias Rascals Apeldoorn the free kick. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Alexander Brehme got a free kick in the 54th minute. Bengt Petersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralph Roeles made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Hector Todor sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt van der Laan in the 61st minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Hector Todor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ralph Roeles made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hector Todor sent off a good shot on target. Jan de Vlieger's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Rotariu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan de Vlieger in the 69th minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Rotariu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt van der Laan's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Middendorf in the 71st minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kurt van der Laan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt van der Laan in the 73rd minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt van der Laan in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Rotariu saved PoWer SC 2K5 from getting behind. Emiliano Caiola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrick Middendorf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt van der Laan, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Falko Wirtz got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the PoWer SC 2K5 defense, Kurt van der Laan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Rotariu. The PoWer SC 2K5 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Rotariu should have stopped the shot. Ralph Roeles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Todor in the 96th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the PoWer SC 2K5 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Julias Rascals Apeldoorn.
