The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Afiz Teo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Caiola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Kurt van der Laan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Afiz Teo. Jan de Vlieger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Kurt van der Laan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt van der Laan in the 18th minute of play forced Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kurt van der Laan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kurt van der Laan couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt van der Laan in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. Kurt van der Laan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afiz Teo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Redbourn AFC's zone, Norbert Skrzypek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Afiz Teo came out of the goal and Norbert Skrzypek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Afiz Teo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt van der Laan, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kurt van der Laan in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Afiz Teo saved Redbourn AFC from getting behind. Emiliano Caiola kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Afiz Teo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt van der Laan in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kurt van der Laan to strike the kick off in the second half. Redbourn AFC were furious when Bineesh Chee was red carded, 52 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Redbourn AFC:s Afiz Teo showed great skill when he stopped Bengt Petersson:s penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt van der Laan got free with Afiz Teo in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Caiola in the 56th minute of play. Redbourn AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Kurt van der Laan scored to the left of an out of position Afiz Teo, making the score, 0-2. Kurt van der Laan had several of the Redbourn AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Afiz Teo as he didn't even see the shot coming. Afiz Teo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Kurt van der Laan sent off a good shot on target. If Emiliano Caiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Afiz Teo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt van der Laan. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Bengt Petersson got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Kurt van der Laan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Afiz Teo. Afiz Teo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Afiz Teo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Kurt van der Laan sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Pieng charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alexander Pieng the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Alexander Pieng hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Kurt van der Laan put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Afiz Teo. In the 80th play minute Kurt van der Laan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Afiz Teo. 0-6. 83 minutes into the match, Kurt van der Laan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Afiz Teo. Redbourn AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kurt van der Laan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. When Samuel Yang fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbourn AFC's protests and gave Samuel Yang a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Redbourn AFC's Afiz Teo got control of the ball when Kurt van der Laan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Afiz Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Caiola in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Redbourn AFC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alexander Pieng hit a great ball. Kurt van der Laans short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Afiz Teo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Afiz Teo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Kurt van der Laan sent off a good shot on target.
