With a little luck, ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Derman Soysaldı got control of the ball when Stasio Bienienda tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th minute, Matteo Mata made a precise shot to the right of Ivan Chiuzbaian. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Matteo Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zhao Sen Yang blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Derman Soysaldı having to make a save. Derman Soysaldı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 26th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matteo Mata in the 29th minute of play. Derman Soysaldı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Akyazıcı in the 31st minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Corné van Basten in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Derman Soysaldı. Derman Soysaldı yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The throw-in from Caroll Baskin in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı. After having played for 46 minutes, Zhao Sen Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zhao Sen Yang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matteo Mata was the one to do the kick off. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matteo Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. İlhami Akyazıcı hit a great ball. Matteo Mata came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Chiuzbaian could save by the left post. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caroll Baskin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. In the 80th minute, Mete Taçkın hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Abdülhak Savgat was substituted for Mustafa Yaşar Recai. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Hasan Bağış was substituted for Caroll Baskin. Mugurel Pandele didn't get a good kick on the ball.
