Percival Cruz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Derman Soysaldı when he managed to save the team from getting behind. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s Hasan Bağış was substituted for Caroll Baskin. After a defensive mix-up in Palestra do Interior's zone, Matteo Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Varela came out of the goal and Matteo Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the game, Matteo Mata threw the ball into play from the sideline. Palestra do Interior's Evripidis Picoulas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. There was no doubt that ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐► were the better team. ◄▌Anatolia Athletic▐►'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
