Fuat Bayraktaroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Primitivo Grau's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. With his leg Fuat Bayraktaroğlu managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 23 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Primitivo Grau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fuat Bayraktaroğlu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Stasio Bienienda quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Yakut Tengiz, made in the 39th minute of the game. Bogumil Pochorylo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fuat Bayraktaroğlu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zhao Sen Yang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 43 minute of play. Stasio Bienienda hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zhao Sen Yang made a kick off. Zhao Sen Yang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fuat Bayraktaroğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Di Piazza. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- made a substitution. Mugurel Pandele replaced İlhami Akyazıcı. Lions Of Turks's attentive Bernardo Cidro managed to snatch the ball when Dacian Tilea made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- had won after a very even match.
