Allan Varela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dávid Mojžiš, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Eugen Zoch had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Allan Varela. Palestra do Interior's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eugen Zoch was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Palestra do Interior's Vitório Lago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rastislav Duch. That made the score 2-1 after 16 minutes of play. A collision led to Palestra do Interior getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eugênio Alagoano hit a great ball. Vitório Lago scored 3-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rastislav Duch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rastislav Duch made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Vitório Lago sent off a good shot on target. Eugen Zoch might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Varela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugen Zoch ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 26th minute Eugen Zoch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Palestra do Interior were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Feyenoord Malinovo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Niclas Danielsson took the corner. Allan Varela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Zoch in the 30th minute of play. Eugen Zoch struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Allan Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Feyenoord Malinovo. Vitório Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dávid Mojžiš hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Feyenoord Malinovo's Erik Orgován was substituted for Michal Oravec. In the 48th minute, Dávid Mojžiš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eugen Zoch to strike the kick off in the second half. Peter Németh was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Dávid Mojžiš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Vitório Lago came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Palestra do Interior fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vitório Lago couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Feyenoord Malinovo getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Erik Orgován hit a great ball. After 61 minutes Feyenoord Malinovo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Niclas Danielsson who took care of the corner kick. Allan Varela was a little too slow when Eugen Zoch got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 3-2. Palestra do Interior made a substitution. Ulises Dominguez replaced Moisés Matorin. Paulo Godoi scored 4-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rastislav Duch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feyenoord Malinovo's Martin Paliesek was substituted for Dávid Zachar. Feyenoord Malinovo made a substitution. Gustaw Pawelczyk replaced Eugen Zoch. When Palestra do Interior's Paulo Godoi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A very good chance for a goal. 93 minutes into the match, Feyenoord Malinovo's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Godoi came free, but Rastislav Duch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palestra do Interior's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
