Arnaldo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ovidio Ritchie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Ritchie having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in PoWer SC 2K5's zone, Arnaldo Gabon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Ritchie came out of the goal and Arnaldo Gabon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Ritchie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Carrillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Ovidio Ritchie came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Guido Carrillo. But to his dismay, Guido Carrillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute Guido Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Ritchie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Chorche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fabian Magath's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Arnaldo Gabon hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a little luck, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Uriel Chorche got control of the ball when Manuel Klose tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Manuel Klose sped through ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Uriel Chorche.

Guido Carrillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Ritchie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper Ovidio Ritchie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guido Carrillo. Arnaldo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 75 minutes PoWer SC 2K5's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Abastas who took care of the corner kick. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Genaro Mercurio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ovidio Ritchie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 程雄松 got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Max Babbel. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Magath in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Michael Götze sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uriel Chorche skillfully saved the ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Guido Carrillo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Guido Carrillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ovidio Ritchie was left in no man's land by his defense there!
