Club Atletico Fenix's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Monclús was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. André Monclús scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Herauso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, André Monclús hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Genaro Mercurio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 33 minutes, Zacarias Osorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA and the Club Atletico Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. Despite this Fabio Herauso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the match, André Monclús notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso. Fabio Herauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leon Rius took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.
The wind increased when Beltrán Lucas made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Herauso having to interfere. André Monclús sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Monclús took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Herauso. Fabio Herauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. If Arnaldo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico Fenix from getting a goal against them. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 65th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fabio Herauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Monclús in the 71st minute of the match. André Monclús who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Fabio Herauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 89th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that André Monclús's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Herauso was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Cipriano Ledesma took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Uriel Chorche. Uriel Chorche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-8. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA played a much better game than Club Atletico Fenix and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Fenix players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
