In the 10th minute of the match, Arnaldo Gabon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Amin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Uriel Chorche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jithu Hee in the 13th minute of the match. Uriel Chorche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fariz Swee in the 16th minute of play. Felix Amin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Carrillo in the 17th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Arnaldo Gabon got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Amin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Uriel Chorche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jithu Hee in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hermano Rodrigues was slow to take the kick. During this time Redbourn AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Redbourn AFC's Hermano Rodrigues to fire away a dangerous shot which Uriel Chorche despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bineesh Chee hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Guido Carrillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Felix Amin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goal looked a bit too open when Fariz Swee came free, but Uriel Chorche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sajeev Hian came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Redbourn AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sajeev Hian couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Redbourn AFC booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gabon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Sajeev Hian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redbourn AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sajeev Hian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guido Carrillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Felix Amin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Arnaldo Gabon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Redbourn AFC defense, Guido Carrillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Amin. The Redbourn AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Amin should have stopped the shot. In the 58thth minute of the game Guido Carrillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Redbourn AFC's Felix Amin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bineesh Chee's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bineesh Chee helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Redbourn AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bineesh Chee didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 75 minutes, Daniz Lam made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Uriel Chorche tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnaldo Gabon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Gabon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redbourn AFC's goalkeeper Felix Amin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Redbourn AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Isidro Asur took the corner. After 87 played minutes ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA got a freekick which was hit by Arnaldo Gabon. Felix Amin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Carrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Daniz Lam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Uriel Chorche was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
