Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nelsinho Marinho made the kick off which started today's match. Emerson Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nelsinho Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Emerson Leão came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Palestra do Interior's Serafim Simão. But to his dismay, Serafim Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orlando Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafim Simão took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emerson Leão. Emerson Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Palestra do Interior's Luisão de Medeiros got a free kick in the 17th minute. After recieving a nice pass, ITAFUT 4EVER's Pedro Luiz Perez tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Orlando Mineiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Beto Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, David Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Mineiro got free with Antônio Carlos Cavalcante in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Mineiro in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Carlos Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Estevez Palmeira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a huge save. The supporters of ITAFUT 4EVER booed when Palestra do Interior was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisão de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Léo Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ITAFUT 4EVER's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestra do Interior the free kick. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Léo Velasco hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by David Vale. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Estevez Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell José Augusto Novaes to make the kick off. In the 61st minute, Ezequiel de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ITAFUT 4EVER's Sidney Lima was substituted for Sebastião Diniz. After 62 played minutes Palestra do Interior got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel de Souza. When Pedro Luiz Perez came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the ITAFUT 4EVER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luiz Perez couldn't finish the play. Antônio Carlos Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Estevez Palmeira in the 71st minute of play forced Palestra do Interior's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Léo Velasco hit a great ball. After 77 played minutes ITAFUT 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Urbano. In the 77th minute of the match Nelsinho Marinho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emerson Leão skillfully saved the ball. In the 78th minute, Serafim Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Augusto Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Palestra do Interior's Antônio Carlos Cavalcante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Novaes in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Palestra do Interior eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
