Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Lebas made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Igor Lebas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toro Martínez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Despidida AFC's Toro Martínez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierluigi Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 69 minutes of play, KaoS Futbol Club's Lluis Companys made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernando Selatse was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despidida AFC made a substitution. Dinu Ivănescu replaced Ancho Branca.
