A collision led to Maní FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Luis Musko hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Maní FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nazil Canay came free, but Pascual Pitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Negri struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Eustacio Misael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maní FC. Alcides Berardo lost his temper 38 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Eustacio Misael was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erling Gentenaar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half.
