In the 10th match minute, Villa Mitre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Rubio to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Sabin in the 11th minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Roman Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Calvino came free, but Roman Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Villa Mitre's Roman Montez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Sabin in the 16th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Leones FC's Gaspar Sabin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roman Montez. Roman Montez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Kelemen came free, but Aureliano Obeko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Mundo might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Montez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaime Mundo ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 23 in the game by Gaspar Sabin from a close distance when the talented Roman Montez managed to make a qualified save. Villa Mitre's players were relieved. Leones FC's Diego Manilan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Montez stood somewhat misplaced when Gaspar Sabin came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Jaime Mundo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Edgardo Calvino hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Ramond in the 37th minute of play. Edgardo Calvino charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgardo Calvino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adolfo Ramond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaspar Sabin to make the kick off. In the 50th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Louis to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute Augusto Gaitan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Obeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Epifanio Kelemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Aureliano Obeko made a huge save. Roman Montez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Sabin in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaspar Sabin during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gaspar Sabin hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Villa Mitre's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Mundo came free, but Roman Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Sabin in the 72nd minute of play forced Villa Mitre's goalkeeper Roman Montez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Augusto Gaitan fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa Mitre's protests and gave Augusto Gaitan a yellow card for diving instead. Augusto Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gaspar Sabin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Montez saved Villa Mitre from getting behind. In the 79th minute, Gaspar Sabin made a precise shot to the right of Roman Montez. Villa Mitre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
