Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Augusto Pelayo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when José Luis Cuciuffo came free, but Cayetano Paz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Tauro scored 0-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gez Winship, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franky Van Der Elst was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, José Luis Cuciuffo made a precise shot to the right of Cayetano Paz. NECKER49's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Dave Fleming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, Augusto Pelayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Memphis Grizzlies's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dave Fleming in the 60th minute. Garry Nancy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cayetano Paz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Franky Van Der Elst succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. After 69 minutes of play, Memphis Grizzlies's José Luis Cuciuffo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cayetano Paz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Memphis Grizzlies's Brian Patterson was substituted for Harry Johnson. Gez Winship made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Santos in the 77th minute of play. Cayetano Paz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Henry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aquilino Abascal charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aquilino Abascal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes NECKER49 got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Abascal. Peter Wiltshire hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Franz Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Paz having to interfere. Ian Webb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Franz Henry notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of NECKER49's Cayetano Paz. Cayetano Paz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
